Teaching Children behaviours

March 9, 2016

A wise counsellor read this tin a parenting group and it really resonated with me.

If a child doesn’t know how to read,

We teach him to read.

If a child doesn’t know how to do math,

We teach them to do math.

If a child doesn’t know how to behave,

We punish him.

We need to teach our children

Appropriate ways

To manage their emotions and needs
