1-I am the oldest of 4 kids, we all still live very close to each other and frequently get together
2-When I was 7 at Disneyland, complete strangers asked if I could watch their 3 kids (along with my siblings) while the parents went on a roller coaster! How old did they think I was??!!
3-I love road trips and camping, have been halfway across Canada and the US
4-My first job was at the IKEA in Coquitlam as soon as it opened
5-I also worked at IKEAs in England, France and Australia. It was an amazing opportunity to travel and know I had a job.
6-I speak French
7-I lived in Dubai for 3 years while working for Emirates Airline as a flight attendant. Don’t even ask how many cities I’ve visited
8-My son was born in 2014, he was a forceps assisted delivery as he was in distress. He still tells me that he didn’t want to come out.
9-We have an 8 year old Maltalier who we got while living in Australia. She still thinks she lives there and refuses to walk to the right side of the road!
10-2017 was an extremely hard year. I lost my marriage and both my grandmothers all within a couple months of each other. Thank goodness for a sweet 3yr old boy that got me through it.
11-I love baking and have a huge sweet tooth
12-I lived in Seattle for a year, fought hard not to go but ended up loving it and made some great friends
13-I love curling up with a glass of wine and a good book
14-Im always cold
15-The ocean is my happy place
16-My mom was a La Leche League Leader and I became one as soon as my son was born
17-I was lucky to have a very easy breastfeeding relationship with my son and nursed him till he turned 4
18-I never imagined how much LEGO I would end up building by having a son
19-Im passionate about infant sleep and want to change the way parents view it
20- I’m currently studying to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant
21- As many countries as I’ve lived in the scenery we have here in BC tops it all and I love being in the outdoors
22- I hate spicy food
23- I collect anything with elephants and have some amazing pieces from Africa
24-I hate shopping
25-My birthday is in July and I insist on celebrating all month!
